Xactware has added an upgrade, ‘Sketch,’ to the latest version of its mobile estimating app XactScope, allowing estimators to sketch floor plans using iOS devices.
XactScope is a mobile estimating app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It now includes Xactware’s patented Sketch technology.
Using a touch screen, estimators can sketch rooms, stairs, roofs, and other structural features. Users can touch and drag to resize rooms or walls; enter openings, doors, and windows; attach rooms, roofs, and dormers; add fences, decks, and more.
“One of the most common questions I’ve heard since the inaugural release of XactScope is, ‘When are we going to be able to draw floor and roof plans on an iPad?’” said Jeffrey C. Taylor, Xactware’s assistant vice president for Xactimate. “XactScope not only delivers a powerful Sketch tool, but it also includes other important upgrades, such as improved price list access and reports, that make it a more efficient and robust mobile estimating tool.”
