Peel Mutual Insurance Company, which has been providing insurance products for Ontario residents since 1876, has launched its CSIO XML eDocs solution for personal lines brokers.

The eDocs solution “adds an automatic delivery and attachment of electronic policy documents from Peel Mutual into supported broker management systems

Designed to save brokers time by offering easy download of policy declaration documents to all supported broker management systems (BMS), the eDocs solution “adds an automatic delivery and attachment of electronic policy documents from Peel Mutual into supported BMS, including TAM/Epic (Applied Systems), SigXP (Keal Technology), The Broker Workstation (CSSI) and Powerbroker (Zycomp Systems), Peel Mutual said in a statement earlier this week. Using the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations’ (CSIO) XML standards, the solution helps eliminate “significant amounts of paper and time from the current process.”

Peel CEO John Lockwood said in the statement that the company is “pleased to provide this solution to our personal lines brokers and continue to add to our ease of doing business functionality offerings that have been requested directly from our partners.”

Paul Taylor, vice president of sales at Brovada, a software provider specializing in business process integration, system conversions, legacy system integrations and broker connectivity, with offices in Toronto, Moncton and Saint John, said in the statement that “this workflow will bring process efficiency to Peel’s brokers, allowing more time to focus on the client relationship and clients’ needs. We look forward to assisting in spreading the news and ensuring all of Peel’s brokers make the most of the efficiency eDocs provides.”

eDocs is available to all Peel Mutual brokers and setup can be arranged through Bryan Bedford.
