Tom Stanton joins as Managing Partner and Senior Underwriter, Ottawa Branch

CHES Special Risk Inc. is pleased to announce that Tom Stanton has joined the company, adding significant experience and enhancing the abilities of the CHES Special Risk Inc. team as it expands in key Canadian markets. Tom Stanton joins the team as Managing Partner and Senior Underwriter responsible for the Management and Operation of the CHES Special Risk Inc. office in Ottawa.

Mr. Stanton comes to CHES Special Risk Inc. with more than 25 years’ experience as a Loss Adjuster and Underwriter with expertise in both personal and commercial coverages having previously served at Burns and Wilcox Canada, formerly Chesterfield Canada, where he served for ten years as Senior Underwriter. In this role he was responsible for the firm’s Underwriting approach and Product design in the Commercial Property and Liability arena. He also managed relationships with brokers to identify opportunities for growth.

Mr. Stanton is a Registered Insurance Broker (Ontario) and holds a Certificate Insurance Professional from the Insurance Institute of Canada
