Stefanie McKay appointed Chief Underwriting Officer at ENCON

OTTAWA, ON – ENCON Group Inc., a leading managing general agent (MGA) in Canada, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefanie McKay as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO).

As CUO, McKay will be responsible for leading and developing underwriting strategy across all lines of business within ENCON’s Underwriting Management division. She will continue to be based in the company’s Ottawa headquarters and will report to David Cook, President of ENCON.

Most recently, McKay served as Senior Vice-President of ENCON’s Errors and Omissions (E&O) Underwriting department where she was responsible for overseeing the company’s Architects and Engineers, E&O and Technology product lines. A 17-year veteran with ENCON, she has also served as an Underwriter in the Directors and Officers department and Manager of Associations and Affinity Groups within the E&O department. Prior to joining ENCON, she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa.
