On Side Restoration announces new Markham branch manager and project manager appointments

Toronto, ON – On Side Restoration is pleased to announce the following positive staff changes within their GTA Branch located in Markham: Kate Sully, branch manager and Jeremy Burwash, project manager.

Jay Kielt, regional manager Eastern Canada, revealed that “Kate Sully has been diligently learning the ins and outs of our industry with On Side over the past five years. Given the large number of positions that she’s held, Kate’s forged a deep knowledge of the emergency restoration business, most recently as our Ontario operations manager.” Previous roles have included water and asbestos remediation technician, project manager, and (less formally) everything in between.

With this transition Ms. Sully will continue to manage a few key property loss projects however over the next several months her focus will shift to be more accountable for leadership of the continued strategic growth, management and coaching of staff, and overall development of the Markham Branch.

Sully graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with great distinction, a dual bachelor’s degree in hand, as well as a full University of Ottawa scholarship for linguistics. She holds current IICRC certifications with extensive training and experience executing and leading structural drying and hazardous material remediation projects involving asbestos, mould, lead and clandestine labs.

Another recent On Side appointment includes new project manager, Jeremy Burwarsh who comes to the company with over seven years of project management experience. His versatile construction skill set was developed via his hands-on roles completing roofing, concrete projects, siding and interior finishing. With IICRC WRT and ASD certifications, and his ‘can-do’ attitude, On Side is delighted to bring Mr. Burwash into the fold of our high-achieving, Toronto emergency restoration team.
