EFI Global appoints Steve Starna senior professional geoscientist

EDMONTON,  AB, Sept. 24, 2018 /insPRESS – EFI Global, a full-service international consulting firm specializing in forensic engineering, environmental, fire investigation and specialty consulting services, appoints Steve Starna to its operations as senior professional geoscientist.

Starna’s strong technical expertise has led to the successful completion of hundreds of remedial projects throughout Canada, including the application of in situ, ex situ, risk assessment and bioremediation clean-up approaches and technologies.

For the last 20 years, Starna has worked on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites. Since 2008, he has focused on assessing and remediating hydrocarbon spills for the insurance industry. Starna obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and a Master of Science degree in geochemistry from McGill University.

Starna will be based in EFI Global’s Edmonton, Alberta, office.
