Pario Welcomes Brandon Northrup to Ottawa Office

OTTAWA, ON, JAN. 24, 2019/insPRESS/ – Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of specialized engineering and environmental services to the insurance and risk management industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Brandon Northrup as Fire Investigator.

Mr. Northrup comes to Pario after spending eight years in positions of Fire Chief and Emergency Manager for the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe and ten months as Senior Fire Investigator with -30- Forensic Engineering. During his career in the fire service, spanning 17 years, he has been involved in the suppression and investigation of hundreds of fires from a diverse set of environments, including large structure, vehicle, and wildland fires. Mr. Northrup is a Red Seal Licensed Sheet Metal Worker, Licensed Radio Operator, and holds 12 NFPA certifications, including NFPA 1021 Fire Officer III, NFPA 1521 Incident Safety Officer, and NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials Technician.

Mr. Northrup is a graduate of Columbia Southern University and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Fire Service Administration and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Emergency Service Management. Prior to his studies at Columbia Southern, he earned a Fire and Safety Studies Diploma from the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) and certificates in both Fire Service Leadership and Fire Service Administration from Dalhousie University. Mr. Northrup holds professional designations as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) from the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI); Graduate Member (GIFireE), The Institution of Fire Engineers; and Executive Chief Fire Officer (ECFO), Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs. Mr. Northrup is also a Certified Municipal Manager III (CMMIII), Ontario Municipal Management Institute and Community Emergency Management Coordinator (CEMC), Emergency Management Ontario.
