ClaimsPro Appoints Sonia Ryme as Director, Specialty Risk Division in Quebec

MONTREAL, QC, Oct. 16, 2019/InsPress/ – ClaimsPro/IndemniPro, Canada’s leading provider of independent claims adjusting services and an SCM company, today announced the appointment of Sonia Ryme as Director, Specialty Risk Division (SRD) for Quebec. Ms. Ryme will provide technical oversight and overall support for the SRD’s Complex, Commercial, Industrial (CCI) and Transportation, Equipment & Cargo (TEC) teams operating out of ClaimsPro’s Montreal office.

With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ms. Ryme previously served as Director for Quebec and Eastern Canada for ClaimsPro/IndemniPro’s TEC team. Prior to joining ClaimsPro/IndemniPro, she worked for major national insurance providers in a variety of roles.

In her new role, Ms. Ryme will provide executive adjusting support and technical oversight for SRD claims; work in tandem with the SRD team to encourage new regional and national business opportunities and growth; and provide business development support and guidance for the SRD team. This position was previously held by Jean-Yves Bernier, who recently announced his retirement following an exemplary career in the industry. Mr. Bernier will work with Ms. Ryme to ensure a smooth transition before he leaves his position in early 2020.
