Carlaw Collision joins CSN Collision & Glass

Donald Trump once said, “Without passion, you don’t have energy; without energy, you have nothing”. Kevin Carlaw is the reflection of a body shop owner that possesses both passion and energy for the collision repair business.

At the age of twelve, Carlaw started out working long hours at his father’s shop, Cambellford Auto Body. He worked there not because he had to but because he wanted to. Shortly after graduating from high school, Carlaw left his family’s business and began his career at a local Chrysler dealership where he worked his way up to a managerial position and remained there for twelve years. In 2002, Kevin took his passion and energy to another level when he and his wife Debbie Carlaw opened up their own collision repair business in Peterborough, Carlaw Collision ~ CSN.

Since the very beginning, the Carlaws have been making effective changes to the business, continuously looking for ways to improve and stay at the forefront of their local market and the industry. Having said this, Carlaw spends a portion of his time making visits to other facilities in the Ontario region sharing ideas with other shop owners, and looking for ways to improve his own processes. “Here at Carlaw Collision ~ CSN, we are continuously bringing in new tools and techniques for lean process improvements. This is what makes our business unique in this market,” says Carlaw, “but what really makes us stand out is that we take care to complete every repair right, and keep our customers happy.”

The Carlaws, amongst many things, believe in the importance of evolution and adding value to their business on a day to day basis, and this is why their choice to join the CSN network was an easy one. “I decided to become a member of CSN Collision & Glass because I found that they were the best in class across Canada. CSN puts the best interest of their members first. The network also encourages my business to do exactly what I envisioned, to evolve,” says Carlaw. As a proud member of CSN Collision & Glass, Kevin Carlaw now spends his free time visiting fellow CSN member facilities in hopes of taking his business to the next level.
