AIG Name Returns to Canada; AIG Canada Launches New Website at www.aig.ca

TORONTO, ONTARIO, July 2, 2013 – American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) announced today that effective July 1, 2013, the Chartis brand was retired in Canada and that the AIG Property Casualty insurance business in Canada will operate as AIG Insurance Company of Canada (“AIG Canada”) going forward.

AIG Canada also announced today the launch of a new bilingual website tailored to inform and meet the needs of its Canadian audience at: www.aig.ca.
