Brantford resident wins 2016 Ford Mustang in Select Sweepstakes

BRANTFORD, ON, August 26, 2015 — By simply picking up the phone and asking local insurance broker Cowan Insurance Group for a quote, Ms. Shavaun Dobson, a member of the Brantford-Brant Chamber of Commerce, was handed the keys today to a brand new 2016 Ford Mustang as the first vehicle winner of the 2015 Select Sweepstakes. The presentation took place at Brant County Ford on Lynden Road.

“When I got the call that I had won, I didn’t believe it at first. It came as quite a shock,” said Dobson. “My fiancé and I are thrilled. He’s a Mustang fanatic and has owned Mustangs since he was 15. It’s a great feeling to be part of something like this, to win a car. I’ve never won anything this big before.”

The Select Sweepstakes campaign is run in partnership between Economical Select, one of Canada’s leading providers of group home and auto insurance, and 73 insurance brokers across Canada, offering eligible group members an opportunity to win great prizes[1]. As a member of the Brantford-Brant Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Dobson was eligible for exclusive group pricing in addition to being entered into the sweepstakes.
