The Economical Insurance Group Unveils Their First Step in Print Suppression

Waterloo, ON – The Economical Insurance Group® (TEIG®) is helping their broker partners go green with the release of Print Suppression – the latest instalment of TEIG Connex Suite™.
Print Suppression allows brokers to suppress the Broker Copy of the Declaration Pages as well as Additional Interest copies. As the solution matures, options to suppress more documents will be made available to TEIG’s broker partners.
In addition, brokers can self-manage their Print Suppression preferences based on broker code, line of business, document type and company. The ‘reprint’ button will also be introduced as a method of requesting a reprint of the insured copy.
“This new functionality allows us to give brokers choice. It helps streamline their workflow and reduce paper consumption,” said Jorge Arruda, senior vice president of operations at The Economical Insurance Group. “We’ve started with the ability to suppress the Broker Copy and Additional Interest copies with a plan to add more suppression options in the future.”
Print Suppression is part of TEIG Connex Suite, a network of technology solutions designed to streamline and support broker workflow. Each solution in TEIG Connex Suite helps to bridge the gap between the Broker Management System (BMS) and TEIG.
