The CG&B Group Inc. Announces Management Changes and Appointments

Toronto, Ontario, February 29^th, 2012

H. Larry Later, CCIB, President and C.E.O. of The CG&B Group Inc., is pleased to announce several management changes and appointments that further strengthen CG&B’s Executive and Management team.

These individuals will play a key role in CG&B’s operational and sales initiatives going forward.

1)     Len Notaro, Sr. Vice President, will assume responsibility for the operations and management of our consolidated Marine & Transportation divisions.  Len will also continue to be responsible for other CG&B’s specialty lines like Yacht and Media. 

2)     John Cook, Vice President, will head up our new “Loss Control & Specialty Services” department which will include claims management, loss control, risk management services, special accounts, and sub brokered Commercial business.  This department will provide support to better service our clients.

3)     Mark Sampson will be appointed Sr. Vice President and shall take responsibility and the role of managing the operations of our Mid Market Commercial department at our Markham office. As part of the new structure, Mark will also oversee our Small Commercial department in Markham.

4)      Bob Manson will be appointed Sr. Vice President and shall be responsible for Sales and Marketing for Commercial Insurance and Personal Insurance. This will include the sales / production divisions for Markham Mid Market Commercial, new business sales for Small Commercial, and Personal Insurance. Bob will also manage CG&B’s insurer relationships.
