Canadian Insurance Top Broker prides itself on being the foremost source of insurance insight and analysis, thought-provoking editorial, and expert opinions to help top producers and leading insurance professionals in the P&C market grow their business.

However, to stay on top of the latest industry trends, we rely on our industry friends and colleagues to keep us informed. We are therefore proud to introduce the 2012 Canadian Insurance Top Broker Editorial Advisory Board. Their mandate is to provide ongoing thought leadership on the insurance, broker and reinsurance markets for the Canadian Insurance Top Broker website, print publication, and conferences.

For this we send a very big THANK YOU to our Board members, listed in alphabetical order.

John Chippindale, vice chairman, HKMB Hub International

John focuses on business development and client advocacy servicing large multi-national corporations and industry trade organizations.

 

Val Cusano, president, Iridium Risk Services Inc.

Val is also a director of Palm Captive Consultants, an independent company domiciled in Barbados.

 

Bob Fellows, senior vice president, Zurich, Canada

Bob is responsible for the evolving Zurich broker relationship strategy, and building Zurich’s brand positioning in the Canadian market.

 

Andrew Kemp, president, CMW Insurance Service.   

Over his 26-year career, Andrew has specialized in placing and serving complex commercial accounts in Canada and the US.

 

Jack Lee, vice president, BFL Canada Risk and Insurance Services Inc.

Jack is also national marketing manager for BFL and represents the Toronto Insurance Conference (TIC) as a director of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC).

 

Jack Mazakian, executive vice president, leader, regional financial institutions practice, Willis Canada

Jack has been in the insurance industry for over 28 years starting as an underwriter and working his way up to increasingly senior positions with leading brokerages.

 

Deborah Moor, president, Lloyd’s Canada

Prior to taking this role in 2008, Deborah worked for Lloyd’s in London and for Canadian Airlines in Calgary in various roles including director, insurance.

 

Marc Puddy, president, Chris Steer Insurance Brokers

Marc has worked in the insurance industry for 13 years, and prior to the acquisition of Steer, Marc was a partner at one of Canada’s largest privately owned brokerages.

 

John Sharoun, CEO, Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.

John is also an advisory board member, licensing, compliance division, for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and serves on the advisory board of the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association (CIAA).
