Application deadline for TIC scholarships draws closer

The deadline to apply for the Toronto Insurance Council’s (TIC) university scholarship program is fast approaching.

Now in its sixth year, the program awards as many as three $5,000 scholarships to successful applicants pursuing full-time university studies in Canada. The application deadline is Friday, Sept. 28.

Eligible applicants must be sponsored by TIC brokers, partners or staff, or they must be planning a career in an insurance brokerage. Selection is based on academic excellence, financial need and major accomplishments, among other criteria.
