Applied IVANS Exchange is designed to give brokers a comprehensive view of their current and potential download activity with insurers. Key capabilities include:

  • A connections report that allows brokers to review download connections that are inactive or have yet to be activated. The report is updated daily with the latest insurer download offerings.
  • A single policy resend feature that allows brokers to locate and resend policies that have already been downloaded, with the ability to resend multiple policies at once.
  • Access to archived download files, which are picked up from the CSIO server. Download data is automatically archived for 90 days.

“Brokers are increasingly evaluating opportunities to further automate operations to focus more time on servicing, retaining and growing their books of business,” Jeff Purdy, Applied’s senior vice-president of International Operations, said in a news release. “Applied IVANS Exchange extends our commitment to enabling brokerages to be truly digital through increased insurer connectivity, creating significant operational time savings and improving insurer relationships.”
