DAS, Northbridge partner to bring legal expense insurance to SMEs

Northbridge and legal expense insurer DAS Canada have partnered to bring legal insurance to small businesses.

The policy will cover tax audits, contract disputes and criminal charges, as well as provide the insured with access to a legal advice helpline.

“We recognize our potential as an underwriter of commercial insurance to help Canadian businesses,” said Scott Vandenberg, vice president of commercial lines corporate underwriting at Northbridge.
