Gore plans to donate $5,000 to each charity through its charitable arm, the Gore Mutual Foundation. The company is inviting people to nominate charities on Gore Mutual’s social media channels using the hashtags #GivingTuesdayCA and #GoreMutual.

“We strongly believe in supporting initiatives that help build stronger communities across Canada and a brighter future for the people who live in them,” Heidi Sevcik, president and CEO of Gore Mutual, said in a statement. “With our Giving Tuesday campaign, we are excited to hear from people across the country about all the different charities doing great work in their communities.”

Nominations must be made before Nov. 21. Six winners will be selected by Gore Mutual employees.
