The inaugural ICRMC Bermuda is scheduled for December 6 and 7, 2018 at the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club, following an invitation from the Bermuda Business Development Agency to bring the event to the island.

“We are proud to bring ICRMC to Bermuda, the ‘World’s Risk Capital,’ where we, with the support of a stellar steering committee, will focus on cyber risk with an emphasis on re/insurance and risk-transfer solutions,” MSA’s president and CEO Joel Baker said in a news release.

The new event comes eight months after its annual Toronto cyber conference, considered one of the world’s top-rated cyber security forums. This year’s edition is scheduled for April 11 and 12, 2018.

The committee for ICRMC Bermuda’s programming includes representatives from ABIR, Bowring Marsh, Aon, AIG, KRyS Global and members of Bermuda’s BDA.

“There’s no better location than Bermuda, given its central place in the insurance, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) arena,” Baker added.
