Trisura Guarantee brings online learning program to brokers

Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company has launched a new electronic learning platform that will provide brokers with regulator-approved continuing education hours.

The specialty and surety insurer begins this new initiative with one course entitled “Surety 101.” This will be followed by the release of a second course, “Cyber 101,” which is currently being developed but expected to be ready in the fall, says Michael Campbell, marketing coordinator at Trisura Guarantee, in an interview with Canadian Insurance Top Broker.

The program is available online and at no charge to brokers. “The challenge for brokers is finding the time to get their required hours and it benefits both [brokers and the organization providing the education for brokers] to have that aspect of convenience,” says Campbell.

“We want to add value to our brand and the relationships we have with our brokers,” he adds.
