The Insurance Institute of Ontario held its 114th Annual Convocation & Awards Night on January 24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Randy Bushey, president of the Insurance Institute of Ontario, served as MC. Maurice Tulloch, chairman of The Insurance Institute of Canada, addressed the more than 400 Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) graduates. The keynote speaker was Yvonne Camus, participant in the “Eco-Challenge,” the world championship of adventure racing conceived by Mark Burnett of Survivor fame (hers was the first rookie team to complete the grueling competition).
