Peace Hills Insurance extends partnership with DAS Canada on Legal Expense Insurance (LEI)

EDMONTON, April 10, 2018 /insPRESS/ – Peace Hills Insurance announced on April 1, 2018 that it has extended its partnership with DAS Canada to offer Legal Expense Insurance (LEI) to Homeowner, Condo, and Tenant policyholders in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories.

This announcement follows the original December 1, 2017 announcement to include LEI coverage in all Peace Hills’ Condo and Tenant, Homeowner, and seasonal policies in Alberta.

LEI coverage provides policyholders with financial protection for a variety of potential legal events, and empowers them to pursue or defend their legal rights. Given the involved nature of the Canadian legal system, and the increasing number of work and life demands, individuals and families struggle with the financial stress and the uncertainty of an unexpected legal problem. The telephone Legal Advice Helpline that LEI provides allows Peace Hills’ policyholders to obtain general legal advice as many times as required for any legal inquiry they may have.
