$3,390 Raised for Charities at STRONE-Itech Christmas Party

Through the generosity and efforts of STRONE and Itech employees, a total of $3,390 has been raised to support two charities this December – Camp BUCKO and The Canadian Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
Camp BUCKO (BUrn Camp for Kids in Ontario) is a camp open to burn survivors between the ages of 7-17. The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation was created to HONOUR and REMEMBER firefighters who have been killed in the line of duty and to SUPPORT their families.
The recent Christmas basket auction generated $2,890. Medavie Blue Cross, then donated $500 to Camp Bucko for the $3,390 total.
Top fundraiser was the Mississauga Branch, raising $325 on the Beers of the World basket. Mississauga’s victory will be celebrated with a complimentary pizza lunch. Congratulations!
