AVA Marine Group Inc has opened a new business venture in British Colombia. AVA Marine will initially operate from Vancouver, led by Mr. Kaivan H. Chinoy. Mini biography is attached for reference. The company provides a comprehensive range of specialist marine surveying & consultancy services.
In an opening statement about the launch of AVA Marine Group Inc, Kaivan Chinoy, the principal marine surveyor, said that “I am pleased to be able to announce the commencement of AVA Marine Canadian business venture. Mini biography
Kaivan is a qualified Mercantile Marine Officer (Chief Officer, United Kingdom) and a graduate of Universities of Glasgow & Strathclyde Universities – Faculty of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering – with a MSc Degree with distinction in Technical Operations of Ship Management, Kaivan has the practical experience of over 15 years at sea, combined with shore positions in the shipping and oil industries in marine operations and inspections.
Before founding AVA Marine, Kaivan was involved in extensive marine operations such as transportation of crude oil, loading/unloading of bulk & break bulk cargoes, containerization, navigation, heavy equipment, project cargo risk management, grounding & re-floating attendance and marine cargo surveying including losses exceeding $ 500,000.
