Crawford’s Global Technical Services™ Division Welcomes John Valeriote and Ashley Misurka

TORONTO (Sept. 27, 2017) – Crawford & Company® (Canada), Inc. announce the addition of John Valeriote and Ashley Misurka to Crawford’s Global Technical Services™ (GTS™) division. The Crawford® GTS team in Canada includes more than 75 highly technical claims adjusters who specialize in large or complex losses and the addition of Valeriote and Misurka further strengthens the team.

Valeriote has over 25 years of industry experience, specializing in multi-line, complex claims. As a claims professional, he has held roles in large insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms, in positions ranging from senior field adjuster and claims manager to executive general adjuster. Complementing Valeriote’s professional expertise is his educational background, which includes a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designation, a Financial Risk Management (FRM) designation and a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University. Valeriote will lead the Crawford Canada property appraisal practice and handle complex claims as needed.

With over eight years of industry experience, Misurka is a well-rounded claims professional with a strong technical background. She holds the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations. In her new role, Misurka will manage Crawford Canada’s newly established property appraisal and claims services branch.
