CSIO Welcomes David Gambrill as Communications Manager

(Toronto – June 19, 2017) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Gambrill to the position of Communications Manager in Toronto.

In his new role, David will promote CSIO’s leading-edge technology standards and solutions through a variety of marketing, communications and educational initiatives. He will build excellent working relationships with CSIO members and external stakeholders through presentations at member meetings, webinars and speaking engagements at conferences across Canada.

“I’m honoured, privileged and excited to be working with CSIO and its communications team,” David said of his new role. “I’m happy to help CSIO move forward with many innovative technological solutions to help its members improve the competitive position of the broker distribution channel in Canada.”

CSIO is a member-driven organization with a membership base of more than 36,000 brokers, 72 insurers and 31 vendors across Canada.

David joins CSIO from The Insurance Institute of Canada, where he developed and delivered a variety of communications materials to promote the education and professional development of p&c insurance professionals. He has extensive experience as an editor in the property and casualty insurance trade media.

David holds a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Carleton University.
