Cunningham Lindsey Commercial Risk Division Welcomes Sean Forgie National Director of Casualty/Liability

Cunningham Lindsey’s Assistant Vice President, Commercial Risk Division (CRD) and Specialty Services, Mike Alwyn is pleased to announce Sean Forgie, BA, CIP, CFEI, has joined the CRD team as National Director, Casualty/Liability.

As National Director, Sean will oversee the handling of complex liability claims conducted by the Executive General Adjusters, Senior General Adjusters and General Adjusters that make up the CRD team in Canada.

 “Sean brings extensive technical and management knowledge and experience to this role,” said Mike. “He is best in class in the insurance adjusting industry and will be a valuable resource to our CRD team members and clients alike”.

For the past eight years, Sean has worked within the independent adjusting arena, having most recently held the post of Vice President. Prior to his IA career, Sean was a staff adjuster for various National and International insurance carriers.

Sean is best known for his handling of large and complex liability losses, a career that has taken him across Canada and around the world. His expertise lies in product liability, environmental, and professional indemnity losses in particular. He is currently assigned to the Elliot Lake mall collapse, an example of the high profile and multi-faceted type losses that insurance professionals trust Sean to handle.

A Chartered Insurance Professional and Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, Sean is an active member of the insurance industry, having been Chair for CIP Sub-Committee and Member of the Academic Council for the Insurance Institute of Canada.
