MOUNT FOREST, ON, August 30, 2017 — North Wellington Health Care-Louise Marshall Hospital site is one step closer to having a new Centralized Cardiac Monitoring System (CCMS) thanks to a $12,000 donation by Economical Insurance, one of Canada’s leading providers of home, auto, and business insurance. The donation to help fund the purchase of the new CCMS for the hospital was made in association with Coburn Insurance Brokers Ltd. of Mount Forest.

“We are inspired by the hospital’s commitment to providing exceptional patient care,” said Tom Reikman, Chief Distribution Officer at Economical Insurance. “We are pleased to support the purchase of a new CCMS that will expand the hospital’s monitoring capability for a better patient experience.”

“At Louise Marshall Hospital, our CCMS is coming to the end of its service life,” stated Jane Ford, Development Officer for The Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation. “The new system has extensive Wi-Fi capabilities so more patients are monitored from a central location. Caring corporate partners like Economical Insurance assure our rural hospital provides best patient care and we appreciate this generosity.”

“We value our relationship with Economical Insurance and are proud to be associated with their significant contribution to the Foundation,” said Scott Coburn, President of Coburn insurance Brokers Ltd. “Having represented Economical for more than 100 years, we know firsthand the difference their community giving program makes in communities all across Canada.”

“This is the second sizable donation Economical has made in association with Coburn Insurance to The Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation,” said Coburn. “In December of 2014, they donated $12,000 in support of the hospital’s redevelopment of their Emergency Room and Ambulatory Care Clinic.”
