EFI Global Welcomes New Senior Fire Investigator to Winnipeg Office

EFI Global is pleased to welcome Ken Giersch, CFEI (Senior Fire Investigator) to the Winnipeg, MB office.  As a Senior Fire Investigator, Ken is responsible for determining the origin and cause of structural and vehicle fires and explosions in Western Canada. Ken’s knowledge and experience will also be used to assist in assessing potential subrogation opportunities.

Ken began his career in 1991. He brings over 20 years of experience within the fire industry.  Ken has held numerous positions including Captain, Emergency Services Officer, and Fire Investigator.  His background specializes in fire investigation and protection.  He is an IFSAC accredited Fire Investigator and has assisted police forces, fire departments, and the insurance industry in determining the cause and origin for over 350 fires in the Province of Manitoba.  Ken has completed multiple courses and attended several seminars related to fire and forensic services and investigation.  He has also instructed a variety of firefighting and fire investigation courses in Manitoba.
