FirstOnSite Restoration advances Ontario leadership team with four new branch managers

MISSISSAUGA, ON, NOV. 8, 2018/insPRESS/ – FirstOnSite Restoration, Canada’s leading independent disaster restoration services provider, has strengthened its leadership team in Ontario with the addition of four new branch managers; Melissa Lundy, branch manager, in London, David Goetz, branch manager, in Kitchener, Matt Brooks, acting branch manager, in North Bay, and Kim Dickson, acting branch manager, in Mississauga and Scarborough.

Melissa Lundy started with FirstOnSite nearly 12 years ago as a cleaner. In her time with the company, she has advanced from cleaner, to project coordinator, project manager and now branch manager of the London branch. She has worked a variety of CAT’s throughout her career, including mobilizing to Fort McMurray in 2016. She also has completed a number of environmental projects and has already established a solid reputation with her teams, clients and end-users.

 

David Goetz has worked in restoration since 2000, where he launched his career at one of FirstOnSite’s original founding companies. Starting as a general labourer, he quickly climbed the ladder to become a project manager in 2011. He then left to become a national quality appraiser for Contractor Connection before rejoining FirstOnSite as branch manager in July of 2018. David’s understanding of the restoration industry and its customers will help FirstOnSite manage its business and continue to provide the best customer experience possible.

Matt Brooks began his restoration career in North Bay in 1996. Matt has been working as a project manager since 2006, and in 2016 joined the FirstOnSite team as a project manager. With a diploma in civil engineering and architectural drafting, Matt has worked his way to this exciting new role as North Bay’s acting branch manager.

Kim Dickson is an industry veteran with more than 15 years’ experience in financial and operational management. She began her career with FirstOnSite in 2008 where she oversaw the financial operations of all four branches in the Eastern Ontario District. As the operations and performance manager for Ontario, Kim was instrumental in assessing branch operational and drive continual performance improvement. Kim has overseen operations on the ground during the Fort McMurray wildfire, the 2017 Windsor flooding, and GTA ice, water storms and wind storms.
