Frank Faieta Appointed National Vice President, Surety Innovation and Risk Solutions, The Guarantee Company of North America

TORONTO, ON., Jan. 29, 2019/insPRESS/ – The Guarantee Company of North America (The Guarantee) is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Faieta to the position of National Vice President, Surety Innovation and Risk Solutions. Frank is uniquely qualified to assume this new role while also retaining his current position as National Vice President, Surety and Credit Claims.

Frank is a 27-year veteran of the Surety industry having joined The Guarantee in 1992. Recently, he was the architect of the new industry product, the Surety Association of Canada’s “SAC Headstart Subcontractor Performance Bond,” currently in use in the marketplace. Frank’s focus on innovative products and solutions earned him the role as Chair of the Product Innovation Council for The Guarantee from 2013 to 2016. He had an active role in various working groups for the Surety Association of Canada including the working group involved in developing the bond forms that now form part of the Construction Act in Ontario. In recognition of his contribution to this and other Surety Association initiatives, Frank was the 2018 recipient of The Surety Association of Canada’s President’s Award.

In his new role, Frank will be part of the surety underwriting team in the Toronto head office, with national responsibility for underwriting contracts and developing bond wordings for AFP/P3 projects in collaboration with our broker partners and contractor clients, as well as developing other innovative Contract Surety solutions for our Canadian surety division.

Frank is a licensed Professional Engineer having graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from University of Toronto, and is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario. He has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and also holds the designation of Chartered Insurance Professional.
