The Guarantee Company of North America Welcomes Two New Board of Directors

TORONTO, Dec. 5, 2017 /insPRESS/ –  The Guarantee Company of North America (The Guarantee) is pleased to announce the appointments of Bev Wittmack and Dawn Tattle to its Board of Directors.

Bev Wittmack is a Director of JEH Enterprises Inc, a privately-owned business consortium with significant holdings in commercial and residential real estate in Canada and the USA, as well as in the Canadian hotel and agricultural industries. In addition, she is a Shareholder and Director, of Fresnel Management Ltd., a company that she established with her husband providing healthcare management consulting services throughout Canada and the United States.

Until her retirement, Bev was President and CEO of Humford Devopments Ltd., a commercial and residential real estate development company in Canada and the USA, and Humford Management Inc., a real estate management company in Alberta. Bev also served on corporate and government Boards and Committees, primarily in the Province of Alberta.

Bev holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and the Chartered Accountant designation.

Dawn Tattle is an award winning Geo-structural engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. She is a consultant, educator and keynote speaker in both the business and technical aspects of Civil and Structural engineering, has lectured at the University of Toronto’s School of Engineering, Ryerson University, the University of Waterloo and the Ivey School of Business and has contributed as a keynote panelist to many industry conferences. She also serves on the Ontario Ministry of Labour’s Prevention Council

Prior to committing full-time to consulting, primarily in the field of Geo-Structural Engineering and Worksite Safety, Dawn was President & Partner of Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd. Dawn also served on several industry boards and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Construction Association and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering.

Dawn holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program, and is a Certified Corporate Director.
