Insurance Spot Launches Online Quote and Bind Platform for Tenant and Condo Insurance

November 17, 2017   by Trufla Technology

CALGARY, Nov. 17th, 2017 /insPRESS/ – The Canadian Broker Network (CBN) is pleased to announce the launch of Insurance Spot (insurancespot.ca), an online quote and bind tenant and condo insurance platform. Designed to revolutionize the user experience, Insurance Spot is the result of a partnership between CBN members, Sharp Insurance, Capri Insurance, CMW Insurance and Rogers Insurance.

While there are other quote and bind platforms in the market, Insurance Spot stands out as the most advanced with a focus on assisting commercial property owners, in Alberta and British Columbia, to manage their risk.

“It will be a key tool for property managers in particular because they will be able to keep a record of which tenants have insurance, and if that insurance is current and active,” says Bruce Rabik, COO of Rogers Insurance.

On the tenant side, the sophisticated quote engine, developed by Sharp Mobile Technology Ltd., allows tenants to not only get a fast quote and bind online, but also to manage their account in the client portal section.

“Insurance Spot is the future of insurance,” says Sherif Gemayel, President of Sharp Insurance. “We’ve created a digital experience for property managers and their tenants that will save everyone time and money.”

“This is a big achievement,” says Tim Miller, President, Capri Insurance Services. “We are excited to be involved in a collaboration that has resulted in such digital advance.”

Insurance Spot is underwritten by Aviva Canada.

“Technology is revolutionizing the way the insurance industry operates and Aviva strongly supports innovation,” says Mark Rouleau, Senior Vice President at Aviva Canada.
