iter8 Announces Aviva Canadas Decision to Broaden their Broker Automation Platform

communic8, the connectivity hub from iter8 will be used to deliver next wave of broker connectivity enhancements
November 2011: iter8, an insurance solutions software developer, is pleased to announce that Aviva Canada Inc., one of the leading Property and Casualty insurance groups in Canada, has chosen to use communic8 as their broker integration hub that will handle uploads from multiple broker management and bridge systems, ensuring a once and done broker workflow.
Aviva Canada is committed to provide their brokers with overall ease of doing business, and sees this effort as a critical step in meeting their brokers’ needs. Aviva has been using the communic8 platform for over eight years for both CSIO EDI downloads and real-time comparative rater integration. The strong performance of communic8 and the strong support from iter8 led them to consider expanding the role of communic8 for their Personal Lines integrations.
communic8 was selected because it is currently best suited to meet the needs of Aviva Canada and their network of independent broker partners. Uploads from WARP (Transformation Station), NexCenter and Keal Connect will be handled in the new transaction automation platform in the first iteration with other targets to potentially follow.

The project will begin immediately, with a production schedule to be finalized, although it is expected the new functionality will be released in 2012.
