Kernaghan Adjusters Annouces Vice President Appointments

Vancouver – Kernaghan Adjusters, Canada’s fourth largest independent adjusting firm, announces two key appointments to Vice President positions: Mr. Anthony McVicker BA is appointed to Vice President Southern BC Operations, and Mr. Russell Fitzgerald CIP, CLA is appointed to Vice President Alberta Operations.

Russell Fitzgerald joined Kernaghan Adjusters in 2008, after having been in the insurance claims industry since 1994.  Russ is an industry-recognized specialist in claims for commercial transportation, equipment (industrial, logging and oilfields), cargo losses (marine and inland), and auto property claims.  Russ also has expertise in Commercial Casualty and Property. He is known for his sound judgement on the claims that he and his adjusters handle.

Russ is responsible for the Alberta operation, and all claims emanating out of that region.  He has exceptional staff and adjusters who respect and work closely with him.  His success comes from a solid adjusting background coupled with the ability to develop strong business relationships and excellent attention to claims detail.  Russ is a respected mentor and a key member of KA’s Senior Management Team.

Anthony McVicker, a highly regarded claims professional, has been with KA for over 15 years and has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.  His industry positions have included Executive Large Loss Adjuster, Branch Manager, and Senior SIU Claims Adjuster. He has extensive experience with major loss property claims, arson and fire investigations, motor truck cargo, and commercial lines casualty claims. Tony is a trusted professional who understands the critical importance of quality service.

Tony is responsible for our Southern BC operation, and all claims emanating out of that region.  He works shoulder to shoulder with his staff to complement their expertise and nurture new skills. Tony has the unique ability to engage people and bring all parties together to solve the issues before them.  These excellent skills have earned Tony an important place on KA’s Senior Management Team.
