November 15, 2017   by Origin and Cause

Toronto, Nov. 15, 2017 /insPRESS/ – Origin and Cause is extremely pleased to announce that The Lawyer’s Guide to the Forensic Sciences was awarded the Walter Owen book prize. The book, authored by a remarkable team of Canadian experts, including Origin and Cause’s Vladimir Chlistovsky, provides members of the legal profession with an overview of multiple forensic science disciplines.

Selection committee member, David C. Day wrote in his review, “Incontestably, this text has become the seminal introductory treatment of the principal forensic sciences; invaluably serving those committed to life in the law either above, or in, the well of a court — both criminal and civil.”

Vladimir Chlistovsky is a forensic engineer with over 25 years of experience and branch manager of Origin and Cause Mississauga. He has completed more than 600 forensic investigations, including fires and explosions, product failures, and building, property and construction failures.

“I can’t think of anyone more qualified or better suited to present this material than Val. His knowledge and experience are really second to none.” said Origin and Cause president, Mazen Habash. “He’s a tremendous asset to our company, and a credit to the entire industry. He should be extremely proud – we certainly are.”
