New Appointment: Amandio Contreiras COO at On Side Restoration Services, Vancouver Office

December 10, 2013 – Earlier this year, Amandio Contreiras joined On Side Restoration Services in their Vancouver head office as their new Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Contreiras is a results-focused senior executive with over 20 years of experience introducing and leading strategies that build, grow and improve businesses. He joins On Side Restoration from Reliance Comfort LP where he has worked over the past eleven years.
While at Reliance he held several senior roles including; Director of Strategic Initiatives, Residential Sales, Business Partnership Development, Commercial and Builder Markets, Commercial, Builder & National Dealer Programs and General Manager, UEI Finance.
Prior to that he had held the position of President & GM with Exhibit Group/ Giltspur, an international MarCom leader specializing in sales, design, custom manufacturing, and project management of trade show and museum exhibits, and events. Before Exhibitgroup/ Giltspur, Amandio was Vice President Sales & Marketing with Cole Business Furniture, a Canadian manufacturer of business furniture and environments.
Mr. Contreiras’ biggest business strengths are in leadership as well as team development and he has enjoyed applying these transferable skills so far in his new role at On Side. Amandio is working closely with the Executive Management Team, and his direct reports include Operations, Regional, and Branch Managers. His primary focus will be around improving On Side’s customer service and performance metrics.
This new On Side appointment will allow Mike Sully, Executive Vice President, to concentrate on Marketing and Business Development in his evolved role as Chief Marketing Officer.
