iter8 technology to be used for core functionality and connectivity
May 2010, Toronto: iter8 Inc., an insurance solutions software developer, is pleased to announce that Optimum General (Optimum) has chosen to work with iter8 in the development of a modern, connected broker portal.
Optimum General is a Canadian company that underwrites property and casualty insurance through three subsidiaries with eight regional offices. With over 600 independent brokers, Optimum is active in four main insurance lines: automobile, personal property, commercial property and liability insurance. A centralized IT group, Optimum Informatique, is heading the implementation of the new broker portal. Their mandate is to design, develop, implement and support the competitive IT solutions that meet the needs of companies belonging to the Optimum Group. iter8 is pleased to provide communic8 licensing and services to ensure the portal is fully connected to Brokers and third party information sources. communic8 supports all North American standards including ACORD and CSIO AL3 and XML, and proprietary services and networks.
