We are excited to announce that Origin and Cause’s Eduardo Mari and Dinu Matei will be presenting at the prestigious Materials Science & Technology Conference in Pittsburgh, USA, hosted by six major materials organizations:
- The American Ceramic Society (ACerS)
- Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST)
- ASM International
- Metallurgy and Materials Society of CIM (MetSoc)
- NACE International
- The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS)
This conference is the most comprehensive forum for materials science and engineering technologies. Eduardo and Dinu will be presenting their findings at the Failure Analysis Prevention Symposium on the topic “Forensic Evaluation of Ball Valve Failures in HVAC Recirculation Lines of High-Rise Residential Buildings.”
Following the conference, the presentation will be posted on our website and a communication will be sent out.
Eduardo Mari
Eduardo is a professional materials and metallurgical engineer with a Masters Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the State University of New York. With 15 years of experience, he has led over 500 forensic and failure investigations. He is currently a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
Dinu Matei
Dinu specializes in metallurgical, materials and mechanical failure analysis. During the course of his career, he has been involved in more than 1,000 failure investigations of various metallic and non-metallic components, and in 23 projects leading to the development of new materials and processes.
