Pario Bolsters Its Environmental Services Division

Concord, ON – Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of engineering and environmental services, announced the addition of two senior team members to its Environmental Services division. Neil Wilcox has been promoted internally to the new position of Manager, Environmental Services, Southern Ontario. Chad Guertin, C.E.T. is an external hire and now serves as Senior Environmental Project Manager.

Mr. Wilcox has been in the environmental consulting industry since 2003, primarily conducting and managing spill responses and remediation projects. During his career in the industry, he has taken on increasingly larger and more complex projects including large tanker spills of diesel fuel and gasoline, large pipeline releases, and a wide variety of commercial and domestic release investigations and remediation projects. His extensive experience has also allowed Mr. Wilcox to provide peer review and subrogation support services on numerous files. He has also demonstrated a high degree of client focus, organizational, managerial and mentoring skills, which makes him ideally suited to take on this new management role and support Pario’s growth plans.

Mr. Guertin started with Pario on September 26, 2016 in the organization’s new North Bay branch office. He is bilingual (French) and comes to Pario after spending many years within the emergency oil spill consulting industry as well as working with Environment Canada. A graduate of Georgian College, Mr. Guertin also holds an Advanced Environmental Engineering diploma. He specializes in emergency oil spill responses and has significant experience handling large and small domestic and commercial transport losses throughout northern Ontario. His largest loss to date involved the management of a large formaldehyde spill requiring remediation costs of over $6 million.
