Sean Burkett joins the PAUL DAVIS SYSTEMS CANADA, LTD. team as Business Development Director Ontario Region

July 17, 2013- Toronto, Ontario: PAUL DAVIS SYSTEMS CANADA, LTD. (PDSC) a restoration services industry leader is proud to announce the addition of Sean Burkett to the team. In the Business Development Director role, Sean will be responsible for new business initiatives in the insurance and corporate/commercial market sectors in the Ontario region along with Pam de Boer, Business Development Director – Ontario Region.
Sean has a Bachelor of Environmental Science, has completed a Certified Risk Management (CRM), and has obtained a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation. Additionally, he is pursuing his MBA part-time. Sean joins the PDSC team not only with vast knowledge, but with experience in both the insurance industry and sales. He began his career with the Cendant Group (Budget Rent a Car) as the Director of Business Development – Insurance, where his responsibilities included both national and regional programs and contracts. Sean later held the role of Vice President of business development for the Insurance Search Bureau of Canada. For the last 4 years, Sean was commercial insurance broker.
When asked why he joined the PDSC team, Sean states “I believe that the key to any partnership is value. I believe in building relationships through integrity and respect and Paul Davis Systems offers me the opportunity to work with clients / stakeholders to identify and deliver that value. I also wanted to work within a franchise network again and I love working with the insurance industry.”
Outside of Business Development, Sean enjoys community involvement having served on the Ambassador Committee for the City of Waterloo. Currently he is an active in volunteering for Waterloo Minor Soccer and the Heart and Stroke foundation.
