ClaimsPro Announces London Market Service, Organizational Realignment in Atlantic Region

March 30, 2016   by SCM Insurance Services

ClaimsPro, Canada’s leading provider of independent claims adjusting services, announced today that following last year’s acquisition and integration of Plant Hope Adjusters into the Atlantic Operations of ClaimsPro, the organizational structure of that region has been finalized in order to continue to provide the best possible service to Atlantic Canada. This change also supports ClaimsPro’s renewed commitment to field-adjusting service for the London Open Market.

Fred Plant, currently ClaimsPro’s Senior Vice President, Atlantic Region, will be taking on a newly created national role within ClaimsPro as the Senior Vice President of London Open Market, reporting to ClaimsPro’s President, Ross Betteridge. In this role, Mr. Plant will focus on ClaimsPro’s field adjusting services for the unique and ever-expanding open market insurance offerings of Lloyd’s; both domestically and from the United Kingdom. Mr. Plant’s extensive knowledge of the London market ensures highly-specialized, personalized solutions as Priority Service. In addition to the aforementioned duties in his new role, Mr. Plant will be working to expand ClaimsPro’s offerings to the broker community across Canada, and he will continue to serve as President of the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association (CIAA).

As a result of Mr. Plant’s new role within the company, Wayne Guy will resume full accountability of ClaimsPro’s Atlantic Canada operations as Vice President Operations, Atlantic Canada. Mr. Guy will report directly to Lorri Frederick, ClaimsPro’s Chief Operating Officer.

Roles have also been reconfigured in support of client service in the New Brunswick region to include two District Managers responsible for all offices. In these newly enhanced roles, Peter Gormley will assume the role of District Manager, New Brunswick West, and Calvin Roberts will serve as District Manager for New Brunswick East and Prince Edward Island. These appointments emphasize ClaimsPro’s commitment to local and complete coverage throughout all regions of Canada. Mr. Gormley and Mr. Roberts are known for their extensive experience in the industry, and their commitment means enhanced and customized service to their respective regions.

Finally, ClaimsPro has made a change in Nova Scotia following the retirement of Peter Christensen. The organization announced that Michael Connolly has been appointed to the role of Branch Manager, overseeing the offices of Halifax and Coldbrook. Mr. Connolly, in addition to Mr. Gormley, Mr. Roberts, and current Atlantic branch managers will report directly to Wayne Guy.

These changes finalize the organizational structure of ClaimsPro in Atlantic Canada and position ClaimsPro for continued growth and success in service to their clients in the region, across the country and now into the London market.
