Endeavour Insurance Services is looking to facilitate easier management of risks in the small-medium enterprise (SME) cyber space – while also supporting MGAs, brokers and clients in the U.S. and Canada – with the launch of a new technology and cyber facility.

Predominantly managed via an online portal, the Endeavour Cyber Facility “will provide multiple opportunities for MGAs, producing brokers and clients in the United States of America and Canada to generate new business streams in the North American Specialty Lines space,” Endeavour Insurance Services, the delegated authority specialist and Lloyd’s broker, reported Monday.

“Cyber protection is fast becoming a major consideration in future risk management,” says David Lawrence, chairman and CEO of Endeavour Insurance Services, pointing out the “project to develop cyber in this way is a medium-term investment for us.”

By creating an online platform to address the SME cyber space, Lawrence notes, the expectation is “there will also be offline mid-market opportunities that we can develop and look to build something around, in order to facilitate easier management of risks.”

“This is the next step in the growth of Endeavour with an exciting new business offering to an arena where organizations may not have immediate access to this class of insurance,” he adds.

The facility will be headed up by Tony Loizides (pictured below), divisional director with Endeavour Insurance Services, who has almost three decades of insurance experience, largely focused in the North American markets.

While Loizides has a particular focus on technology and cyber, he has experience in all specialty lines, including professional indemnity, D&O, financial lines and healthcare.

He has held positions with Sedgwick, First City Partnership and HSBC Insurance Brokers before joining specialist Lloyd’s broker Safeonline LLP in 2010 as head of broking. His responsibilities included cyber, financial, professional and intellectual property insurance lines.

“I value the expertise and diligence with which Endeavour takes care of its clients’ needs and I am looking forward to developing new opportunities and distribution methods to grow their business even further,” Loizides comments.

Founded in 1999, Endeavour Insurance Services specializes in placing business produced by North American and European agents handled under delegated authorities. It has four divisions, including in Canada, which covers property, casualty, professional risks, personal accident and cyber liability classes of business.
