Giffin Koerth has added two new engineers to the roster — James Wheeler and Val Chlistovsky. “Both gentlemen bring our property division strong expertise and continue to fulfill Giffin Koerth’s desire to always improve our level of service to the insurance, construction, and legal industry,” the company notes.

Wheeler brings with him 22 years of experience in the electric and electronic engineering fields, most recently as a senior forensic electrical engineer with EFI Global in Phoenix, AZ. Chlistovsky brings 18 years of experience with him, most recently as approvals and quality engineer with Crown Food Service Equipment.

PPG Canada Inc. and Keystone Automotive Industries have announced a new preferred vendor partnership. The partnership gives the PPG CertifiedFirst Network of collision repair centres access to the full package of Keystone products and services. “This is an excellent opportunity for our CertifiedFirst customers,” Jeffery Murphy, the marketing programs manager of PPG Canada Inc. said “Keystone offers a wide variety of aftermarket automotive parts. Being able to provide our customers with preferred access will be very beneficial to their business.” •

PPG Canada Inc. and the CertifiedFirst Network have announced a platinum level sponsorship renewal of WICC (Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade).

In the first three years of sponsorship of WICC, PPG worked closely with WICC and attended several key events that helped raise close to $3 million for the Canadian Cancer Society since 1997.

Nancy Ng, insurance services manager at PPG Canada, also serves as a WICC board member in the role of chapter relations.

Crawford & Company has named Brian Flynn senior vice president and global chief information officer effective immediately.

Reporting to the CEO, Flynn will be responsible for the oversight of all systems, application development and deployment, and the recommendation of IT strategic initiatives that quickly respond to market and client changes worldwide, the company notes in a release.

“Brian has proven success in developing and implementing IT initiatives that have advanced operational efficiencies and improved technology-related decision making worldwide while driving down costs,” Jeffrey T. Bowman, president and CEO-designate, said in the release. “Continually improving our technology delivery is essential to our strategic plan to grow our business while providing high-quality services that exceed our client’s expectations.” •
