WICC Ontario 12th gala dinner

Welcomed by emcee Marilyn Horrick (WICC Dinner Chair), over 650 industry supporters attended the WICC Ontario 12th gala dinner -a ‘Mardi Gras Soiree’ -on March 25th, at The Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto. WICC co-chair’s Carolyn Horan and Linda Wahrer presented Peter Goodhand, president of the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division with the largest cheque ever from WICC for $325,000. Various awards were presented at the dinner including: Lew Dunn Award: Nancy Thorne; Lew Dunn Award: Linda Wahrer; Gold Flame Awards: Enterprise-Rent-a-Car (accepting: Alessandro Orlotti); Guy Carpenter Canada (accepting: Don Callahan); ServiceMaster of Canada (accepting: Mary Ann Anderson); Hall of Flame Award: ING Canada (accepting: Tracey Laughlin). WICC also announced that Claude Dussault, Chairman of the Board, ING Canada Inc. was being made an Honorary Chair of WICC. •
