On The Move

Ron Pavelack has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Federation Insurance Company of Canada, effective with the retirement of president and CEO William J. Green. Pavelack has been with the company for 23 years, and was most recently executive vice president.

Reliance Insurance has announced the appointment of A.D.J. ‘Denis’ Morin as chief agent for its Canadian property and casualty operations. Morin brings 35 years underwriting and management experience to his new position.

Pilot Insurance has announced several promotions to senior positions in the Ontario company. Rob Park will be vice president of underwriting and broker management, bringing twenty years of insurance experience to the post. Katie Walmsley will take over as vice president, corporate development, and Scott Campbell was named assistant vice president, underwriting, specifically accountable for personal and commercial lines.

Victoria Munavish was recently appointed director, insurance software and solutions, for IMRglobal Ltd. She comes to the position with 25 years experience in the insurance industry, including various sales and management positions.
