Golf for a cure!

The Women In Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) held it’s 1st Annual Golf Tournament on August 25th at the prestigious Angus Glen Golf Club, north of Toronto. Over 200 executives from the insurance industry participated in the premier event, which included lunch, golf, dinner and both a silent and exciting live auction.

Volunteers, sponsors and attendees from both within and outside of the insurance industry helped make the affair an overwhelming success. Dozens of interesting and unique items were donated for the auctions – at the end of the day, over $60,000 was raised from the event for the fight against cancer. Based on this year’s success, organizers are already hard at work on the 2nd annual edition of this exclusive event.
