Crawford Adjusters Canada has announced the appointment of Santo Carbone as vice president of corporate services. He replaces retiring Rex Stephenson. Carbone has 20 years of experience as an adjuster with expertise in claims management, customer relations and problem solving. Stephenson was with Crawford for over 30 years.

CNA, Canadian Operations, is pleased to announce the appointments of Severio Pacini to the position of assistant vice president, loss control/risk management and Gail Stroschein to the position of branch manager of CNA’s Vancouver branch. Pacini brings to CNA 15 years experience in the insurance industry’s loss control field. Stroschein most recently held the position of commercial lines manager with ING in the British Columbia area and she has a total of sixteen years in the industry.

The Co-Operators has appointed Paul Mlodzik to the position of vice president of marketing and communications. Mlodzik has 15 years of senior management experience in the financial services industry.

Gordon Crutcher has been elected chair of the Board of Governors of The Insurance Institute of Canada. Crutcher is vice president of Towers Perrin Reinsurance.
