On The Move (April 01, 2002)

Vendor Applied Systems has appointed four new product managers. Dave DeGroot, Shannon Martin, Kathy Polizzi and Tony Villa bring almost 40 years of combined experience to their new roles.

Kingsway Financial Services has named James Corcoran and J. Brian Reeve to its board of directors. Corcoran is a lawyer and former superintendent of insurance for New York State. Reeve is a lawyer with Cassels Brock and Blackwell and has been a special advisor to the Ontario and Canadian Finance Ministries on insurance matters. John Beamish and Paul Iacono were also named to the board of Kingsway General Insurance and York Fire and Casualty, and Bernard Gluckstein has been appointed to the board of York.

Ron Simone has been appointed divisional vice president, insurance and warranty services for Burlington, ON, Canadian Tire Financial Services Ltd.

Economical Insurance announces that Ron Pavelack has been appointed executive vice president and COO of subsidiaries Federation Insurance Company and Missisquoi Insurance Company, both located in Quebec. Pavelack will be responsible for integrating the two companies’ executive and management teams.
