Giffin Koerth is now -30- Forensic Engineering

Toronto, ON 7 October 2016 – Giffin Koerth, a leading forensic engineering firm, this week unveiled a new brand identity through the introduction of a new name and logo. The new brand signifies growth and transformation and celebrates the culture of world-class forensic expertise built over the company’s 14 year history. Giffin Koerth will now be known as    -30- Forensic Engineering.

The new logo is a nod to the early days of newspapers, when reporters would submit their final news copy on typewritten pages. Because the typesetters in this era would have to work with hundreds of typewritten pages every day, and had to work very quickly, reporters would type DASH-THREE-ZERO-DASH, or “-30-” (THIRTY), at the bottom of the page, to signify to the typesetter that it was the end of the piece. It was a way of saying that the facts were all there. That nothing more could be said. That this was the whole story.
